Clarissa clenched her jaw, and her hand flew to her stomach. It felt like she was being ripped apart. She grabbed onto Sebastian’s shoulder and buried her head in her shoulder. “Sebastian, stop it - it hurts!” She felt a cool substance run down - “My water, it just broke.” She bit her lip trying to hide the pain from her contractions.

Sebastian’s feet leaped into action before the rest of his body even knew what was going on. His brain was trying to wrap around the fact that the baby was coming and her arms were lifting up Clarissa. His lips were whispering words to her ear, telling her everything was going to be alright and the pain was just temporary. Cradling her in his arms, he took off running to the Hospital wing. He wanted her pain to be as short as it possibly could be, he wanted her to be holding his baby before the hour was up. The hall was long though, it felt so long.
